Mike Rowe: experience and epiphany.

Me, to FirstHusband: “You should watch this video of Mike Rowe. It’s hilarious and amazingly insightful. He’s a comedian and a philosopher at the same time. He starts by talking about one of his experiences on Dirty Jobs. It involves the removal of lamb testicles. In a very unexpected way.”

FirstHusband: “I know. He bit them off.”

“HOW did you know that?

FirstHusband: “I saw that episode.”

Me: “Well, he talks about the experience and some epiphanies he had afterward. It’s pretty interesting. A man doesn’t bite the testicles off of a lamb and come away from the experience unchanged.”

(If you can’t deal with the “experience” part, skip to the 6:55 mark.)
